V.I.P. is a wonderful time to celebrate your child and all their interests, for a whole week at school. Children are welcome to bring something to share with peers each day of their V.I.P. week Ideas to share can be a favorite toy, pet, pictures, treat, a book or a special person. V.I.P presentations will begin towards the beginning of the day and should last only 5-10 minutes. Please let me know if the end of the day would be easier for pets or people to attend.
In addition to the sharing aspect of V.I.P, one of our social studies goals is to learn about the past and for children to chronicle their lives in a time line. Prior to your child's V.I.P. week, I will send home a small paper booklet that you can attach photos (or copies) to visually share their first five or six years of growth. We all look forward to viewing these beautiful pictures that help us connect to the friend we know today.
Sign ups for V.I.P. week will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19 during our evening Open House. If you are unable to attend, we can connect the following morning.
