Apple Orchard and PumpkinTime!

What a beautiful sunny day to meet in the apple orchard.  

The Steffens' family treated us to several activities 

including a ride through the orchard to view the several varieties of apples.

We watched people picking apples from the tops of tall ladders 

and then place the apples in bins.  

Farmer Rob told us that one day he had a worker pick 

21 bins all by himself - wow!

We stopped to taste Jonanthan apples 

before continuing our trip to the pumpkin patch.

 Everyone was able to select 

their very own pumpkin to take home 

- so many to choose from!

Outdoor learning makes memories 

that will last a lifetime - thanks Steffens' Orchard!

Field Day Fun!

Field Day was an absolute blast!!

Here's a quick peek at some of our fun together.

 Toss a water balloon to a friend

 and try not to get them wet.

 Field Day was all about encouraging 

our friends to do their best!

 River Run was lots of fun.  Pretend you're a canoe 

and quickly paddle through the rolling rocks

 Oscar the Grouch doesn't want trash 

in his house - so throw those balls out!

Super Squirters helped push 

beach balls across the tennis courts.

Parachute play is always fun.

  That's all folks :)

Extra hugs and thanks to all the parents 

who came out to help this event run so smoothly!!

Wizard Walk 2015

We walked up and down...

And all through our town,

Until we rested with cold Popsicles

Then the music inspired...

and we were no longer tired,

dancing and hugs with a tickle!

What a GREAT day to be together!!!

Spirit Week

This week was Spirit Week at Wealthy School.  

Each day of the week highlighted a different theme.  

On Friday, we were to dress as a character from literature.  

The kindergarten team dressed as Pete the Cat.  

 Take a peek at some of the literary characters the children chose.

Everyone had a great time sharing 

why they chose their character.  

Time to get to the library to check out some new titles!
