Holiday Fun!

We really enjoyed our Holiday Party.
Many thanks to Emily Roberston, Liz Gohel and all the parents
who made it so special!

Our favorite center was making Snowman Soup for Gilda's Club.πŸ’—

Our bags are ready for anyone
who enters Gilda's Club to enjoyπŸ˜ƒ

Who doesn't love a good game of Bingo??

Filling balls with ribbons and sparkles was lots of fun!

Snowballs were flying in the hallway - watch out!⛄

Thanks for a great afternoon of laughter!

Winter Showcase

Today the children had a chance to sing on stage
for the entire school and families.
They sang two songs.
A Hat For My Snowman
and
1 Snowman, 2

Just look at these bundled up smiles!!

Well, that sure was fun!  Now we'll cheer on the rest of the singers πŸ˜ƒ

Can You Guess Our Storybook Characters?

As a culminating activity to our Storybook Reading Unit,
we each selected one of our favorite characters to bring to life.
We painted the character's picture and practiced our character voice..
See if you can guess which character we are and who is speaking.

Have fun - we sure did!!

Extra thanks to our awesome Dad Duo,
Mrs. Davison and Mr. Hall for recording our voices this week!!!

Kindergarten Art Gala

On November 12, we celebrated our kindergarten artists.
Each child planned their design and patiently created
a floral themed piece to be proudly displayed at
Frames Unlimited's Art Gallery.
Families joined for a delightful evening
of art appreciation and fellowship.

A giant thank you to Kyle Zimdar and Kelli Hallifax
for welcoming our kindergarten families into
this beautiful gallery and making us feel so special.

Halloween Fun!

This week was full of traditions.
We baked chocolate chip cookies to celebrate the first snow fall
and parents gathered the night before Halloween to decorate our hallway.
My little darlings were so amazed and excited
to be in our glow-in-the-dark hallway
filled with friendly ghosts floating overhead.
Thanks to Shannon Iakiri and crew - we all had a great day!

Here are my Halloween characters!πŸ˜„

Even our classroom mascot, Mabel
dressed up as a Wise Owl for Halloween

Thanks to all the parents for helping to make this day a memorable one!!!πŸŽƒ
